Our brand's designer, Sai, after completing her design course at UCA in London, returned to Shanghai in 2018 to establish SOSEW STUDIO, a custom chiffon boutique. It was here that she discovered her love for handmade jewelry. This passion likely stems from her father, a traditional Chinese furniture designer, who influenced her from a young age, instilling in her a deep fascination for craftsmanship and classical beauty. Her inspiration comes from fervent love, pure white wedding gowns, tides, stars, grand architectural marvels, riverside cranes, and the small yet beautiful moments in everyday life. You can see in her designs the reflection of her growth and experiences, the blend of Eastern and Western cultures, vintage yet contemporary daily life; this is her distinctive style.
In 2022, Sai expanded SOSEW STUDIO to Melbourne and joined forces with Vima to establish LIGHT VERSE. Their shared love for antique jewelry and impeccable aesthetics was the foundation of their collaboration. The brand retains the SOSEW product line, continuing to create designer handmade jewelry, and partners with the original goldsmith workshop to expand the range to include handcrafted jewelry primarily composed of 18K gold and natural gemstones. Our aim is to provide you with reasonably priced, elegantly unique, and enduring high-quality jewelry.
